Tolle Wolle Rolle - Cool Wool Tool

Das ist doch ein passendes Geschenk für jemanden der gern Socken strickt, die tolle Wolle Rolle entworfen von Siggi aus Berlin. Ich hatte sie mir letzte Woche bei Jutta gesehen und sie war fix genäht. ein perfektes Woll-Reisetäschchen.

This is a gorgeus tool and a perfect gift for sombody who knits socks, a Cool Wool Tool designed by Siggi from Berlin. Last week I  spotted it at Juttas home and it was sewn very quick. A perfect wool traveller pouch.

Na dann versuche ich mich mal. Regina hat heute den neuen Newsletter rausgeschickt und da war ein kleines Rätsel dabei, ich hoffe ich hab's:

Da PP-Blöcke schrumpfen, wenn sie aus mehren Segmenten zusammengesetzt werden, hat Regina statt der üblichen 0,75 cm Nahtzugabe am äußeren Rand der Segmente 1cm verwendet, schrumpft nun das genähte Teil so hat man eine 'heimliche' Reserve und der Block kann hinterher, ohne das es groß auffällt passend zugeschnitten werden.

Redwork Flakes Finished

I'm so sorry that it took quiet a while but here it is - the finished quilt. Please send me links with Your finished Quilt or leave a comment. It was fun for me to design this quilt and share this with You.

Es tut mir so leid, dass es nun doch so lange gedauert hat (die viele Arbeit hat mich dann doch ganz schön fertig gemacht), aber hier ist er - der fertige Quilt. Bitte sendet mir Links mit euren fertigen Quilts oder hinterlaßt einen Kommentar. Es hat mir große Freude gemacht, diesen Quilt zu entwerfen und mit Euch zu teilen.

What You need to do to finish the quilt:

You need to add per redwork flake 4  connector-squares in each corner.  The square size is 2". that makes at least 36 -  2"squares of the same coulor (mine is red).

Then You ad the sashing. You will need 12 stripes 6,5" x 2" and the 4 little snowflakes.

My first red border is 1,5", the second white border is 3/4" and the outer red border is 3,5".

Feel free to do it in other whise.

Here You can see how You have to add the Connector Squares.

Zur Fertigstellung benötigt ihr noch 4 Connector Quadrate in jeder  Ecke der Redwork Quadrate, das macht insgesammt 36 - 2" Quadrate (meine sind hier rot).

Für das Sashing benötigt ihr 12 Streifen 6,5" x 2" und die 4 kleinen Schneeflocken.

Meine erster roter Rand hat 1,5" Breite, der zweite weiße Rand 3/4" und der äußere rote Rand mißt 3,5".

Hier könnt ihr nochmal nachschauen, wie das mit den Connector ecken funzt.
